About the WEE Center

Established in 1976 as a community ministry of the First Baptist Church, the WEE Center strives to enrich the life of every child by creating learning possibilities in an environment of Christian love and respect. Our program includes a structured day with a curriculum designed to meet the developmental needs of the children. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment in which children can develop problem solving skills, seek answers to their questions, and explore their creativity through teacher and child initiated activities.

The Center is open from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday year round. During the summer, the WEE Center also accepts children through grade 5 to participate in the School age camp programs.

We are licensed by the Maryland State Department of Education for children two through six years old.
